Wedding Invitations: Ashley & Kris 06.11.11

We had a wonderful time working with our clients Ashley & Kris, as well as Ashley’s Mom, to customize one of our tri-fold invitations for their June wedding! Incorporating an Apple Green and Royal Blue color theme, we customized our “Isabella” tri-fold wedding invitation to help set the tone for their special day.

The “Isabella” is a unique tri-fold card that features a perforated “tear away” RSVP postcard on the last panel. This design has a beautiful royal blue and apple green flourish motif flowing in and around the card. This card is held together with a modern yet formal sash which can also be used to hold any extra inserts you may need!

This piece is printed on shimmery Pearl White metallic paper and uses a gorgeous pearl white metallic sash. The coordinating envelope is in Green Fairway Metallic has a unique “wrap around” address label that incorporates the beautiful flourish motif. This invitation design allows for a large amount of customization and the use of one or two paper colors!

Wedding Invitations: Kim + Woody 04.30.11

We’re very happy to showcase a new custom tri-fold invitation we created earlier this year! Inspired by our client (and Aunt!) Kim’s love for dragonflies, we created a whimsical and modern invitation to fit their purple and gold wedding theme.

Similar to all of our tri-fold cards, this piece is a 5.5 X 4.25 tri-fold booklet invitation featuring a perforated “tear-away” RSVP postcard. It is printed on recycled paper (Fuse Green and Sand Speck) and comes with an A2 dark purple envelope with a unique “wrap around” address label.

Wedding Invitations: John & Amanda 04.30.11

It’s finally cooling down in here and we are very excited to report that our new lightbox is up and running! We have lots of catching up to do and plan to share our latest work from this year in the coming months.

First up is an invitation we created for John & Amanda for their April 30th wedding! Combining a few aspects from the other invitations within our portfolio, we created a unique 5×7 double layered invitation with a modern yet elegant feel to fit their purple and silver color theme. This piece features a useful back pocket used to hold the RSVP postcard. Taking full advantage of the space on this card, a map is printed onto the backside as well. This card is printed on Silver Metallic and Dark Purple Matte cardstock.

Out of the Studio: August 2011

Our studio will be closing for 2 weeks this August! We’ll be out of the country starting Aug 15 thru Aug 26th. We are doing our best to not let this impact our current and new orders, and apologize for an inconvenience this may cause!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and staying cool! It sure has been a hot one here in STL. Since our move in March, our studio is almost fully up and running. We have a much larger space! Our final project is to get a new light box built in order to show off all of our new work for the year. We have a bunch of new designs to show!

Wedding Invitations: Victoria + Tom 05.01.11

Finally a new wedding invitation post!! Yay!

Late last year we had the opportunity to customize our “Kristina” tri-fold wedding invitation using a beautiful red, taupe, and ivory color theme! The simplicity of the “crossing lines” motif adds an elegant yet modern look to this invitation. We used a combination of Matte and Metallic papers giving this card a great dynamic. And tied in the taupe color using a Gold Leaf Metallic envelope with our stylish “wrap around” address label.

It was a pleasure working with both the bride-to-be and her Fiance. They will be married this May 1st in France!! We wish them the best of luck in their future together.

Cinderella Themed Birthday Invitation!

Last month we customized our original ”fairy tale” themed invitation ”Philece” for a client having a Cinderella Themed birthday party for her daughter! This design fit perfectly for the event! We created this piece using topaz blue and pearl white metallic paper with silver and pink accents. The gatefold card is tied with a cotton candy pink satin ribbon and features sparkling “crystal” accents.

Nursery Rhyme Baby Shower!

We love creating new invitations and were very honored to design a baby shower invitation for a friend of ours! The cute lyrical poem written on the front along with a “cow jumping over the moon” motif on the inside helped to set the tone for the “Nursery Rhyme Shower” that will be honoring the Mommy-to-be this Jan 22nd!

The card is a 5” Square bi-fold printed on shimmery pink and pearl white metallic cardstock and uses a chocolate brown hand tied ribbon accent.

NEW WORK: Thank You Notes

We are excited to start out 2011 with a beautiful set of Thank You Cards! We created these cards for one of our past clients just a few months ago. The elegant purple flourish motif flows onto both front and backside of the card with a simple “Thank You” on the front. These bi-fold cards are printed on our Champagne Metallic shimmery paper and come with a coordinating metallic envelope. Although printed onto different cardstock, this graphic design coordinates nicely with both our “Isabella” and “Amelia” wedding invitations from our portfolio and would be a lovely complement to either suite.

We hope to expand our portfolio of Thank You Notes in the near future to complement all of our designs.
